Meeting of the Academic Board of CSRS Was Held

The meeting of the academic board of the Center for Strategic and Regional Studies (CSRS) was held in its office on May 31, 2021.

In this meeting, along with introducing the new leadership of CSRS to the members of the academic board, the annual report of the previous year’s activities and the future work plan for the coming year were presented for evaluation and approval.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Misbahullah Abdulbaqi, the new director general of CSRS welcomed the participants and said that the center’s management needs the advice of the academic board in all its working areas in order to organize its future activities accordingly.

The viewpoint of the meeting participants regarding last year’s report of activities and achievements was that, overall, taking into consideration the adverse conditions caused by the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in last year, the activities of the center were effective and productive.

Furthermore, the coming year’s plan, specifically, the historical research branch, collaboration with partner research centers inside and outside the country, Tahlil Journal and other important issues were discussed in the meeting, and specific decisions were made regarding the coming year’s plan and activities.

It is worth mentioning that this was the first meeting of the academic board of CSRS in the current solar year (1400 AP) that was held for evaluating the center’s activities, and sharing suggestions with the management for further improvements of future activities.
