CSRS Signs MoU with BARQ Research Center in Istanbul

The Centre for Strategic and Regional Studies CSRS-KABUL signed an MoU on bilateral cooperation with BARQ-ISTANBUL for Policies and Consultations as part of its relationships with effective research centres in the region.

This MoU was signed on September 12, 2021 during an official visit of CSRS delegation to Turkey by Dr. Misbahullah Abdulbaqi, the Director-General of CSRS, and Mr. Bashir Kafah, the Director of BARQ, in Istanbul.

Based on this MoU, both of the centres will have reciprocal cooperation on different issues and research topics like that of holding programs and seminars, issues related to the Muslim world and relations of the two countries.

It is worth to be mentioned that the CSRS has signed many MoUs with various research centres in different countries. Those previously signed from Turkey are Güney Asya Stratejik Araştırmalar Merkezi (GASAM) or South Asia Strategic Research Centre, Economic and Social Research Centre (ESAM), Center for Iranian Studies in Ankara (İRAM), and Ankara Kriz ve Siyaset Araştırmaları Merkezi (ANKASAM) or Ankara Centre for Crisis and Policy Studies.
